After listening to the report of the leaders of the Management Board of Song Thanh National Park, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province, Le Tri Thanh, on behalf of the leaders of Quang Nam province, acknowledged and commended the efforts of the collective unit in performing its tasks, especially in forest protection and biodiversity restoration.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Tri Thanh requested the officers and staff of the Song Thanh National Park Management Board to promote the achievements they have made, strive to overcome difficulties to successfully complete the assigned tasks. In particular, it is necessary to focus on strengthening forest protection patrols, continuing the work of forest tree restoration and biodiversity.
"The forest protection patrol work has been done well in the past time, but we absolutely must not be subjective, we must consider this an important task. On that basis, we will strengthen coordination to propagate and raise people's awareness about forest protection and avoid forest encroachment" - Comrade Le Tri Thanh noted.
In addition, comrade Le Tri Thanh suggested that the unit strengthen the search and fight against illegal hunting of wild animals. Promote experience in cooperation with international organizations to seek technical and financial support for forest management and protection.

Song Thanh National Park has a total natural area of 76,593 hectares. As of October 25, 2024, the Management Board has signed labor contracts with more than 200 specialized contracts for forest protection.
