Ensuring policies and regimes for ethnic minority students
Caring for and improving the quality of education for ethnic minority students has always been a key task in the educational development strategy of mountainous, remote and isolated areas.

In recent times, the care and education of ethnic minority students has been implemented synchronously and systematically. The school has seriously implemented Circular No. 32/2020/TT-BGDDT on the Charter of general schools and Circular No. 04/2023/TT-BGDDT regulating the organization and operation of ethnic minority boarding schools, in order to ensure comprehensive education for students.
In recent school years, the school has fully and promptly implemented the policies and regimes prescribed by the State for ethnic minority students, from accommodation and study support to school health care. 100% of boarding students are taken care of in their daily activities with three nutritious meals, in addition, students are always monitored and regularly cared for by specialized medical staff.
Currently, the school's facilities basically meet the learning and living needs of boarding students, including: a 3-storey dormitory with 35 self-contained rooms; a dining hall and kitchen for 280 students; a 2-storey classroom building with 8 classrooms fully equipped with projectors; a 3-storey subject area with 6 practice rooms; a multi-purpose hall and a standard library.

Boarding management is organized closely and scientifically, ensuring both living order and enhancing education in life skills, ethics and community awareness for students.
Promote special educational activities
As a school dedicated to ethnic minority students, Cho Moi Secondary School for Ethnic Minority Boarding Students pays special attention to organizing specific educational activities imbued with national cultural identity, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural traditions typical of each region.
Every year, the school organizes activities such as: competition to learn about and perform traditional costumes, the program "Tet in my hometown", and club activities of Then singing, a typical cultural feature of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups.
Children also participate in labor activities such as growing vegetables, taking care of flower gardens, and dramatizing life skills through skits, thereby forming practical skills and increasing their attachment to school.
In addition, students also actively participate in competitions to learn about historical and cultural traditions and sports activities with outstanding achievements.
Not only focusing on moral education and life skills, Cho Moi Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities also focuses on innovating teaching methods and testing and assessment towards developing learners' qualities and abilities.
The school seriously implements the 2018 General Education Program, promotes professional group activities in the direction of lesson research, increases class observation, testing, and supports teachers in improving their capacity.
