Strengthening service to people
Deputy Director of Dong Nai Bus Station and Transport Services Joint Stock Company and Head of Dong Nai Bus Station (Binh Da Ward, Bien Hoa City) Nguyen Xuan Tien said that the company has developed a specific plan to ensure traffic safety and serve passengers during the April 30 and May 1 holidays. Accordingly, Dong Nai Bus Station and Transport Services Joint Stock Company assigned staff to clean the bus station premises and the area where passengers wait for the bus; went to bus companies registered to operate at the station to propagate the preparation of good vehicles to serve the travel needs of passengers during the holidays; reminded vehicle owners to pick up and drop off passengers to ensure safety according to the set plan.
In addition, Dong Nai Bus Station and Transport Services Joint Stock Company assigns tasks to staff and security guards to take turns on duty 24/7 at the bus station to serve ticket sales and guide people to travel safely; regularly patrol and keep watch to maintain security and order at the bus station.
“During this holiday, it is expected that there will be a large number of passengers on the bus routes such as Dong Nai to the Western provinces, the Central Highlands provinces and vice versa. We have proactively developed a contingency plan in case of a sudden increase in passengers at the bus station. At the same time, we have mobilized bus companies to prepare backup vehicles to relieve passengers if the number of passengers at the bus station suddenly increases,” Mr. Tien shared.
Deputy Director of Bien Hoa Bus Station (located in Quang Vinh Ward, Bien Hoa City) Ho Dac Phuc said that this year's April 30 and May 1 holidays will last for 5 consecutive days, and the number of passengers traveling at the bus station is expected to increase compared to previous years, so the leaders of Bien Hoa Bus Station have proactively developed a plan to serve the holidays.
The leaders of Bien Hoa Bus Station requested passenger transport businesses to register additional vehicles to serve the travel needs of passengers at the bus station to ensure, avoid the situation of passenger congestion at the bus station; arrange forces on duty day and night during the holiday to maintain security and order, ensuring safety for vehicles entering and leaving the station.
"The bus station leaders will inspect the bus companies and vehicles operating in the station to ensure compliance with legal regulations to ensure traffic safety during the holiday," said Mr. Phuc.
Ensuring security and order during the holidays
Head of Bien Hoa Station (Bien Hoa City) Nguyen Dinh An said that this year's April 30 and May 1 holidays are long, so people can travel by train more than in previous years. Therefore, the railway industry has proactively implemented plans to sell tickets, set up trains, and organize train operations to meet the travel needs of passengers. In particular, the railway industry is interested in short-term tourist destinations such as: Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Da Nang... and has set up many pairs of trains to serve people during the holidays.

Bien Hoa Station has made a plan to prepare well for serving the travel needs of passengers during the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year. The station has arranged forces to be on duty in the station grounds to ensure security and order during the holidays; proactively coordinate with functional forces to rectify and handle the situation of picking up and dropping off passengers in front of the station gate causing disruption to security and order (if any).
Nguyen Xuan Canh, Head of the Bien Hoa Railway Transport Business and General Services Center (Bien Hoa Station), said that in order to meet the travel needs of passengers during the April 30 and May 1, 2025 holidays, the railway industry will regularly operate train pairs on the following routes: Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City (5 train pairs/day with SE1/2, SE3/4, SE5/6, SE7/8, SE11/12); Hanoi - Da Nang (1 train pair/day, SE19/SE20); Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang (1 train pair/day, SE22/SE21); Ho Chi Minh City - Quy Nhon (1 train pair/day, SE30/SE29); Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang (1 train pair/day, SNT2/SNT1)); Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet (1 train pair/day, SPT2/SPT1); Hue - Da Nang (2 pairs of trains/day, HD1/HD2, HD3/HD4); Hanoi - Vinh (1 pair of trains/day, NA1/NA2); Hanoi - Lao Cai (2 pairs of trains/day, SP3/SP4 and SP7/SP8); Hanoi - Hai Phong (4 pairs of trains/day, HP1/2, LP5/6, LP2/3, LP7/8).
In addition to regular trains, the railway industry also organizes additional passenger trains on the following routes: Hanoi - Dong Hoi, Hanoi - Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City - Quy Nhon, Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet, Vinh - Hanoi, Thanh Hoa - Hanoi, Hanoi - Hai Phong. Train ticket prices during the April 30 holiday will increase by 2-4% compared to the 2024 holiday and depend on the train and the distance the passenger travels.
