Dong Nai has 2 more specialized eye hospitals

Of which, Saigon - Dong Nai Eye Hospital (located in Long Khanh city) has been put into operation. Meanwhile, Saigon - Bien Hoa Eye Hospital (located in Bien Hoa city) has been assessed by the Ministry of Health and is expected to be put into operation after meeting the requirements of the assessment team and being licensed by the Ministry of Health.

Thus, up to now, the private healthcare system in Dong Nai province is quite strong with 10 private hospitals (9 hospitals located in Bien Hoa city, 1 hospital in Long Khanh city), 87 private general clinics, more than 1,800 specialized clinics and private healthcare service facilities.

The strong development of the private healthcare system has both “shared the burden” for public healthcare facilities and created competition to improve the quality of services, examination and treatment. Therefore, people in the province have more opportunities to choose high-quality medical examination and treatment facilities.
