Transfer 2 colleges under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to Phu Tho province for management

On October 17, information from the People's Committee of Phu Tho province said that this province has issued a plan to transfer two colleges under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to the province for management.

Specifically, the College of Food Industry and Phu Tho College of Industry and Trade are two schools under the Ministry of Industry and Trade located in Phu Tho province.

The two schools have many different training majors, mainly in the fields of industrial engineering, technology, processing... at the College, Intermediate and Primary vocational training levels.

Implementing Resolution No. 19 of the Central Executive Committee and Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo as well as the agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Phu Tho province (old), the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Resolution No. 26 agreeing on the policy of transferring the College of Food Industry and Phu Tho College of Industry and Trade to the People's Committee of Phu Tho province for management.

In 2020, the Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee (old) also agreed on the policy of receiving management of training facilities of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Phu Tho province.

However, due to some objective reasons, at the time when the Covid-19 epidemic broke out nationwide, the transfer and reception of 2 colleges to Phu Tho province for management has not been completed.

According to the transfer plan, after the Prime Minister issued a Decision to transfer the two schools to Phu Tho province for management, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province will receive the assets, finances, and other contents of the two above units in accordance with the provisions of law.

Training professions will also remain the same as present.

For management staff, lecturers, civil servants and employees of the two schools, the current conditions remain, except for those who wish to transfer jobs.

Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs, The Department of Education and Training and the Department of Finance guide the two colleges to carry out the transfer and reorganization according to regulations.

For the 2 colleges, proactively review and resolve existing problems regarding assets, finance, investment and debt (if any); Ensure stable normal operations of the school.
