In the last 17 matches, the French striker has played a total of 998 minutes but has not scored any goals. This statistic makes fans and experts worried about Griezmann's form.
In the recent match against PSG at the FIFA Club World Cup, Griezmann once again failed to shine. He played the full 90 minutes without scoring or providing any assists for his teammates.
The French striker also failed to complete any successful dribbles and won only one challenge. These numbers partly reflect the decline in Griezmann's form.
Playing alongside Griezmann in attack against PSG was Julian Alvarez. However, the Argentine striker also failed to score during the entire 90 minutes of play. Alvarez also did not have a single shot on target and only had one successful dribble.
After the match, midfielder Koke criticized the referee and said that the result did not reflect the true development of the match. He emphasized: "Griezmann could have scored the equalizer 1-1. Every decision of the referee is in favor of PSG. They always benefit."
Coach Diego Simeone refused to criticize Griezmann and his players. Similar to Koke, he expressed dissatisfaction with the referee's decision. Simeone said after the match: "After 14 years in charge, I no longer want to talk about this issue. I'm tired."
