These messages are on the WhatsApp platform, published by the prestigious Turkish newspaper Ajansspor. The content shows that members of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Disciplinary Committee intend to suppress Coach Mourinho.
"We will make him pay next season. Mourinho has been tolerated too much," Ajansspor quoted a message. Although not fully verified, the content is said to belong to Mr. Celal Nuri Demirturk - head of the Disciplinary Committee.
Immediately after the news spread, all members of the Disciplinary Committee submitted their resignations. In a short statement to the press, they said: "For the honor of the organization, we accept responsibility and resign, to facilitate an independent and transparent investigation."
Mourinho's Fenerbahce club immediately requested a full investigation. Mr. Burak Kizilhan, the club's spokesman, said: "It is unacceptable that an organization tasked with maintaining fairness makes such hostile statements. The honor of Turkish football is seriously damaged."
Coach Mourinho has had a tense relationship with referees and opponents before. In February 2025, after the Fenerbahce - Galatasaray derby, he said bluntly: "The referees here are worse than I thought. Some people really make me... smell."
In a moment of anger, he even used the phrase "jumping like monkeys" to describe the reaction of the Galatasaray coaching staff - causing the team to accuse him of racism and bring the case to UEFA, FIFA and the Turkish police.

Mourinho was subsequently banned for four matches and fined £35,000, although the ban was later reduced to two matches and £12,200 on appeal.
The situation became more tense when in April, coach Mourinho "touched the nose" of Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk after a match, causing him to react violently and fall to the ground.
The "Special One" was banned from coaching for another 3 matches, but many opinions said that this penalty was too light, raising suspicions that the TFF was biased towards Fenerbahce.
There has been no official statement from Mourinho since the leak. The TFF has also not given a detailed response beyond accepting the resignations of the disciplinary committee members.
Turkish media and fans continue to debate the fairness and independence of the country's football governing body.
One fan on social media commented: "Mourinho may be a coach with personality, but if the system is against him, it's no longer sport ."
Meanwhile, an anonymous Turkish football expert commented briefly on TRT: "This is not just a personal scandal, but a crisis of confidence."
