Conference to collect comments and contributions from experts and scientists to complete the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Comrade Hoang Trung Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine; Comrade Pham Minh Tuan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine; Comrade Pham Thi Thinh, Deputy Director - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth, chaired the Conference.
The 14th National Party Congress is a major political event of decisive significance for the country's future in the new era.
The draft documents submitted to the 14th Congress, with many innovations in structure and content, have demonstrated the spirit of looking straight at the truth, objectively assessing the situation, thereby establishing a system of guiding viewpoints, national development goals, orientations, key tasks and breakthrough solutions for rapid and sustainable development, demonstrating the nation's strong aspirations to rise up in the new era.
On October 15, 2025, the 13th Party Central Committee announced the full text of the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th Congress to widely collect opinions from National Assembly deputies, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, mass organizations, cadres, party members and people.
In that spirit, the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine and the National Political Publishing House Truth organized the Conference " Getting comments and contributions from experts and scientists to perfect the Draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress " . The Conference is a forum to exchange and discuss theoretical and practical issues on important contents, especially clarifying the issues arising in the new context when our country has prepared the necessary conditions to firmly step into the new era. From there, propose ideas to contribute to perfecting the Draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, responding to the belief and aspirations of the entire Party and people for the revolutionary cause of the country in the following years; worthy of the trust of countries with diplomatic relations, the trust of international friends.
In her opening speech at the Conference, Comrade Pham Thi Thinh, Deputy Director - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, emphasized: After nearly 40 years of carrying out the renovation process, especially in the 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, with the efforts of the entire Party and the entire people, our country has achieved remarkable development in many fields, leaving outstanding marks. Entering a new era also poses urgent requirements for the entire nation, issues that need to be resolved and overcome, in order to fulfill the heavy but extremely glorious responsibility.
In that spirit, comrade Pham Thi Thinh suggested that researchers, scientists, and practitioners will focus on exchanging and discussing to clarify the following contents at the Conference:
Firstly , continue to contribute opinions and clarify theoretical and practical issues on the core political tasks of the entire Party and the entire nation in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
Second , from the past practice, on the basis of analyzing and evaluating the results achieved; pointing out the limitations in implementing political tasks in all fields, clarifying the causes of limitations and weaknesses, especially subjective causes. This is one of the important contents when we have just carried out the arrangement and reform of the organizational apparatus, streamlining the payroll, from which many issues have appeared that need to be seriously evaluated, analyzed and learned from.
Third , experts, scientists, and delegates are requested to focus on discussing and clarifying synchronous and feasible solutions so that the entire Party, people, and army can well carry out key political tasks in the era of national growth.
The Conference Organizing Committee received 45 valuable presentations from scientists. At the Conference, there were 11 enthusiastic, responsible and frank comments and suggestions on the Draft Documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, thereby proposing practical and effective viewpoints, tasks, solutions and recommendations to contribute to the completion of the Documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
With many years of working and research experience, Prof. Dr. Vu Van Hien, former Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, presented a paper: "New points on strengthening national defense and security in draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress", thereby clarifying new points on strengthening national defense and security in draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Group, former Director of the Vietnam Economic Institute, expressed his interest in the development of the country's economy through his speech: "Some opinions on the growth and development dynamics of the economy in the era of "growing up"...
The delegates' presentations raised many important issues that the Party and State need to address in the coming time, contributing to a more complete, rich and thorough understanding of the importance of the documents; thereby, proposing practical and effective viewpoints, tasks, solutions and recommendations to contribute to perfecting the documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party - documents that guide the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army to successfully implement the country's development goals by 2030; strategic autonomy, self-reliance, confidence, and strong progress in the era of the nation's rise for peace, independence, democracy, wealth, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steady progress towards socialism.
