Nam Dinh Club was awarded more than half a billion VND

The 3-0 victory over Lee Man on the evening of November 27 helped Nam Dinh club secure a place in the knockout round of the 2024-2025 AFC Cup C2. The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) immediately awarded the team from Thanh Nam hundreds of millions of dong.

Specifically, the VFF Standing Committee awarded Nam Dinh Club 300 million VND. VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan also sent his congratulations to coach Vu Hong Viet and the players.

In addition, according to information announced at the recent Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, VPF approved a payment of VND300 million for each Vietnamese team that passes the group stage of an international tournament. Thus, up to now, Nam Dinh Club has received a total of 600 million VND in bonuses from VPF and VFF.

After 5 matches in the group stage of the Asian Cup C2, Nam Dinh FC has not lost (won 3 matches, drew 2 matches, earned 11 points). The representative of Vietnamese football is at the top of Group G, 1 point ahead of the second team (also the opponent in the last match) Bangkok United. In theory, if they draw with Thailand and keep the top position, Nam Dinh FC's bracket in the next round will be more favorable.
