Opportunity for young doctors nationwide to work at leading hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health organizes a job fair for young doctors, especially this year young doctors nationwide can register for jobs at hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, but with the condition that they have a practice license.

On August 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced the issuance of a plan to organize a summary of the pilot practice program at a general hospital associated with a medical station, course 3, and the 3rd health sector job fair in 2025 for young doctors.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, the job fair aims to create fairness and transparency in job placement after completing 18 months of practice at a hospital attached to a health station. These are young doctors who participate and receive financial support from Ho Chi Minh City during their practice period, as well as free training.

This is also an opportunity to create conditions for public health units under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health that have recruitment needs to select doctors with the capacity suitable for the job that the unit needs to recruit.

In particular, this health sector job fair also allows young doctors outside the 18-month internship program at the hospital attached to the Ho Chi Minh City health station to register for jobs.

However, at the job fair, young doctors in this category need to provide complete and accurate personal information when registering and are legally responsible for the truthfulness of the information provided. At the same time, bring photocopies of diplomas, certificates and related documents to provide to the recruiting unit upon request.

In the context of mergers and consolidations, the Ho Chi Minh City health sector is gradually consolidating its apparatus and increasing human resources, especially doctors and medical staff, especially for remote areas, ensuring fairness in health care for about 14 million people.

Up to now, there are 65 public health units in Ho Chi Minh City (hospitals and medical centers) and 4 non-public hospitals in need of recruiting 355 young doctors at this job fair.
