PVOil has worked and will use electronic invoices directly on the electronic invoice system of the solution provider and promptly carry out procedures to create customer invoices.

On April 2, the General Department of Taxation informed that it is continuing to support PVOil's electronic invoice system so that it can return to operation as soon as possible.
The Tax Authority said that through information, it showed that the system of Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) was intentionally attacked in the form of data encryption (ransomware), causing an outage in the entire PVOIL system, including the electronic invoice system.
According to the information on the operation and management of the electronic invoice system of the Tax Authority, invoice data sent from PVOil to the Tax sector only occurred until 4:00 a.m. on April 2. The General Department of Taxation also confirmed that the sector's electronic invoice system showed no signs of being indirectly attacked through PVOil's system.
The General Department of Taxation said it is still supporting PVOIL in the process of troubleshooting. Currently, the General Department of Taxation has temporarily closed the direct connection portal and will reopen it when the PVOil system has been fixed.
The Tax Authority also said that PVOil has worked and will use electronic invoices directly on the electronic invoice system of the electronic invoice solution provider and promptly carry out procedures to create invoices for businesses, organizations and retail invoices in case buyers request./.
