Securities liquidity reached over 27,000 billion VND in the session of June 6

The stock market performed worse in the afternoon session, selling pressure continued to increase causing the VN-Index to lose the 1,330 point mark.

At the end of the trading session on June 6, the VN-Index decreased by 12.2 points to 1,329.89 points; trading volume on the HOSE floor reached more than 1 billion shares, equivalent to over VND 24,016 billion.

The positive point is that transactions are still active, with market liquidity reaching more than 27,000 billion VND.

At the end of the trading session on June 6, VN-Index decreased by 12.2 points to 1,329.89 points. Trading volume reached more than 1 billion shares, equivalent to over VND24,016 billion. The entire floor had 233 stocks decreasing, 76 stocks increasing and 51 stocks remaining unchanged.

HNX-Index decreased 2.58 points to 228.61 points. Trading volume reached over 116.2 million shares, equivalent to over 2,062.4 billion VND. The entire floor had 44 stocks increasing, 113 stocks decreasing and 54 stocks remaining unchanged.

UPCOM-Index increased by 0.02 points to 98.89 points. Trading volume reached more than 91 million shares, equivalent to more than VND1,055 billion. The entire floor had 158 stocks increasing in price, 164 stocks decreasing in price and 108 stocks remaining unchanged.

The VN30 basket of stocks had 20 stocks decreasing in price, 6 stocks increasing in price, and 4 stocks remaining unchanged. Banking, securities, insurance, and real estate groups were all in red.

The information technology industry was the group with the strongest decline in the market, with ITD down 0.36%, FPT down 1.54%, CMG down 1.98%, and HPT down 3.59%.

Oil and gas stocks were very positive in the morning session, but the afternoon session was not positive.

PVB reversed to decrease in price, while a series of codes returned to the reference level such as BSR , POS, PTV, PVC, PVE. Codes such as PLX, OIL, PVD, PVS narrowed their increase.

Foreign investors continued to net sell more than 705 billion VND on the HOSE floor, focusing on codes SHP (185.62 billion VND), VCI (106.49 billion VND), FPT (83.04 billion VND) and HAH (70.41 billion VND).

On the HNX floor, foreign investors net bought more than 19 billion VND, focusing on CEO (36.9 billion VND), IDC (25.26 billion VND), VGS (5.28 billion VND) and LAS (3.78 billion VND)./.
