On the final day of competition (June 8), the Vietnamese men's gymnastics team had athlete Dinh Phuong Thanh participating in the final of the parallel bars event.

In this year's parallel bars event, there are 8 finalists: Vietnam (1 athlete), Japan (2), Korea (1), China (2), Uzbekistan (1) and Philippines (1). The famous Southeast Asian athlete Carlos Yulo represents the Philippines team in the final of this event.

According to Head Coach of the Vietnam Gymnastics Team Truong Minh Sang, the athletes competed with all their might and performed very well. After the performance, Dinh Phuong Thanh tried his best and was awarded an average of 14.066 points by the referee but only kept 4th place overall. It was quite a pity for Phuong Thanh who only lost to the 3rd ranked athlete by exactly 0.1 point. The 2025 Asian Gymnastics Championship is a tournament that gathers many strong athletes from countries in the continent, so the competition is quite fierce.

The champion of the parallel bars event was Shinosuke Oka (Japan) and the silver medal was Tsunogai (Japan). Carlos Yulo (Philippines) scored 14,166 points, so he ranked 3rd and received the bronze medal. Dinh Phuong Thanh was the last player in the men's event at the 2025 Philippine Asian Championship.
