The consumer price index (CPI) in the province in May 2025 increased by 0.16% compared to the previous month, with the CPI in urban areas increasing by 0.3% and in rural areas by 0.02%. Of the 11 main groups of consumer goods and services, 6 groups saw price increases, 3 groups decreased, and 2 groups remained stable.

The groups of goods and services that saw price increases in May included: food and food services, beverages, housing and construction materials… Conversely, the transportation group experienced the sharpest price decrease due to a simultaneous drop in gasoline and diesel prices compared to the previous month.
