Meritorious Artist Thanh Thuy's son, Duc Thinh, enters the film industry

Meritorious Artist Duc Thinh and his wife Thanh Thuy said that this project is in the preparation stage. They only revealed that baby Thien Phuc will appear with his parents in a movie role, but have not provided any further information about their son's role.

Previously, baby Thien Phuc, born in 2009, was praised many times by fans for his mixed-race face thanks to his big eyes and high nose bridge.

The film is humorous but imbued with family life and social psychology, familiar material originating from the life they have preserved for the past 17 years.

2025 also marks the 17th wedding anniversary of the couple Meritorious Artist Duc Thinh - Thanh Thuy.

To record this milestone, the couple created a special photo series with a minimalist, warm inspiration – clearly expressing the quiet yet profound spirit in the way the couple preserves their marriage, as well as in their outlook on life and work: “No need for perfect love, just a commitment to never let go”.

Since their first collaboration on a stage project, Thanh Thuy and Duc Thinh have spent 17 years together, not only in family life but also in their artistic journey. Together they have gone through turbulent times in the entertainment market, nurturing works from stage, television, to cinema – as life partners, colleagues, and each other’s backers.

“We no longer have much need to prove anything to the world . We just want to keep our promise to each other – that every day together is a gift,” is the couple's view of marriage.

In the past few years, both have been quite private and spent more time with their families. The last time Duc Thinh participated in cinema was in 2020 with a role in Blood Moon Party . In the same year, he was also the director of the project People who need to forget must remember . Previously, the director born in 1975 was behind the films: Ghost; Old man, beauty and gangster; Taxi, what's your name?; Trang Quynh, Anh thay ngoi sao...

Meanwhile, Thanh Thuy has just returned in 2 recent television projects: Flower King (2023); The Third Party Has No Error? (2024).
