Previously, on the afternoon of February 11, two false posts related to child kidnapping appeared on Facebook.

Specifically, an account posted information: "There was a white car in Hoa Quy that kidnapped Mr. Thanh Tuan Tran's child but managed to escape quickly. Everyone be careful with small children, don't let them ride bicycles, kidnappers...".

Another account also reminded everyone to be vigilant and mentioned an incident that happened near an elementary school. The child had just come home from school and said that two uncles called him back, but he had been warned in advance so he did not listen. This account also wrote: "Everyone in the family should be careful when picking up and dropping off their children. I probably won't dare let my child ride a bike tomorrow."
