The organizing committee decided to award 13 prizes, consisting of 1 second prize, 2 third prizes, and 10 consolation prizes, to projects and solutions in 5 fields, including: education and training; materials, chemicals, and energy; mechanics, automation, construction, and transportation; agriculture, forestry, fisheries, resources, and environment; and information technology, electronics, and telecommunications.
Specifically, the second prize was awarded to the solution "Processing a TK type rigid steel cable bending kit to support the rapid production of guy wires for routine maintenance, major repairs, and construction investment, shortening the time required for power grid work" by authors Hoang Ngoc Chung and Cao Thanh Tuan ( Quang Nam Power Company).
Two third prizes were also awarded to authors from Quang Nam Power Company, including: the solution "Issuing a manual for operating crane-truck-bucket vehicles (3-in-1 vehicles) to help drivers regularly refer to and learn for accurate operation" and the solution "Building a centralized authentication and integration system for data sharing applicable to Quang Nam Power Company and its affiliated units".
Of the 10 Consolation Prizes awarded in the competition, Quang Nam Power Company won 6; the remaining 4 prizes went to Quang Nam College, University of Agriculture and Forestry ( Hue University), Central Vietnam Power College, Ton Duc Thang University, and Phu Hien Lighting Trading and Service Company Limited.
The Quang Nam Provincial Technical Innovation Competition is held every two years to develop the nationwide creative labor movement in the fields of science and technology, promote the widespread and effective application of advanced solutions, innovations, and techniques in production and daily life, and contribute to socio-economic development and the industrialization and modernization of the country.
