Police work with the person who snatched the bus key on the elevated Ring Road 3

On the evening of August 4, the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that the unit urgently verified and invited the man who took the key of a passenger bus on the elevated Ring Road 3 and then left to come in for questioning.

Accordingly, this person's identity is BTS (born in 1977; residing in Yen Dinh commune, Thanh Hoa ).

At the police station, Mr. BTS said he was the driver of the Kia Canival with license plate 30M-258.67 related to the video that was reported on social networks that morning.

The police initially determined that at around 7:00 a.m. on August 4, the passenger bus with license plate 29H-984.52 driven by Mr. NMT (born in 1991, residing in Ha Long ward, Quang Ninh province) was traveling on the elevated Ring Road 3 from Mai Dich to Phap Van.

At the opposite section near lane 124 Nguyen Xien (Thanh Liet ward, Hanoi), a Kia Canival car with license plate number 30M-258.67 driven by BTS drove parallel in the emergency lane and asked to change lanes. When he was not given way, Mr. S. thought that the bus driver was deliberately not cooperating, so he got upset, got into the bus cabin, argued, took out the key and left.

The entire incident was recorded by a camera and shared on social media, causing many viewers to be outraged by the attitude and behavior of the Kia Canival driver and expressed their desire for authorities to intervene and handle the matter seriously.

Upon receiving the information, the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police directed Traffic Police Team No. 7 to coordinate with Thanh Liet Ward Police to urgently verify and clarify.

The case is currently being investigated and handled by Thanh Liet Ward Police according to the provisions of law.
