Khanh Hoa Provincial Police organize the first driving test and license issuance

On the morning of May 25, at the Driving Test Center of the Central Technical College, the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police held the opening ceremony of the A1 driving test and license issuance. This is the first test organized by the Provincial Police after officially taking over the state management function in the field of testing and issuing driving licenses for road motor vehicles.

The A1 driving license examination took place over 3 days, May 25, 26 and 27, with a total of 695 students. On the first day, 218 students participated in the A1 driving license examination. Students took 2 parts of the exam: Theory, answering questions about knowledge of the Traffic Safety Law and practicing driving on the driving course. Before entering the examination, candidates were given specific and complete instructions by the police force on the examination process and procedures. All stages of the examination were carried out seriously, publicly, ensuring compliance with the process.

The new point of the driving license examination and issuance organized by the Public Security sector compared to before is that even if candidates fail the theory test, they can still take the other tests; the results of the test that they pass will be retained for one year. Candidates who already have a driving license will be exempted from the theory test.

After the examination and issuance of class A1 driver's licenses, the Provincial Traffic Police Department will coordinate with driver training centers in the province to organize the examination and issuance of class B2 driver's licenses in June 2025 for students who have completed the training course in the past.
