Ho Chi Minh City police temporarily seized 2 containers of organs and beef of unknown origin.

The Environmental Crime Prevention Police Department (PC05 - Ho Chi Minh City Police) is consolidating records and handling according to legal regulations organizations and individuals related to 2 containers containing about 10 tons of internal organs and beef that do not meet food hygiene and safety conditions.

A shipment of about 10 tons of internal organs and beef was discovered and seized by authorities.

Previously, late on June 13, PC05 Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with Thu Duc City Police to suddenly inspect 2 refrigerated containers located at the container repair area at 27B National Highway 1A, Linh Xuan Ward, Thu Duc City.

Through inspection, the authorities discovered that the two refrigerated containers contained many offal products including pig udder, duck breast, pig intestines and beef without labels proving origin, and without expiration date.

PC05 Ho Chi Minh City Police has drawn up a record to temporarily detain the above shipment of about 10 tons of internal organs and beef to investigate, verify and handle the case according to legal regulations.
