On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Duong Van Thoan kindly visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers during the resistance war, including Mr. Tran Van Tuop (Ap Rung village, Long Quang commune), Mrs. Tran Thi Be (Rung Ghenh village, Long Quang commune) and Mr. Ho Si Thi (Ta Rung village, Nam Dong commune). At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The Deputy Director of the City Police emphasized that this is a regular activity, demonstrating the good moral tradition of "Repaying gratitude", "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation and the deep concern of the City Police for the families of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

On this occasion, many departments under the City Police organized meaningful and practical activities. The units offered flowers and incense at the martyrs' cemetery, expressing deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who died for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. In addition, the units also directly visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services to the revolution and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers that the units took care of.
