During the meeting, the city leaders received, discussed and reviewed many cases in different wards and communes. The content of the petitions and complaints mainly revolved around land issues - an area that is always of interest to the people and prone to disputes.

Specifically, citizens reflected on disputes over land use rights, petitions for granting certificates, requests for consideration of resettlement arrangements, land allocation for housing as well as difficulties in implementing administrative procedures. Citizens register petitions at the city leaders' citizen reception

Listening directly to the people's presentations, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong and the members of the presiding delegation asked the professional staff and local leaders to provide information, compare documents to discuss the handling direction. For clear cases with sufficient legal basis, the city leaders directed to resolve them immediately according to their authority, ensuring fairness and transparency. For complicated issues that require more time to verify, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the authorities to urgently review and report the results as soon as possible, absolutely not to prolong the case, causing frustration for the people.

At the reception, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized: "Listening to and thoroughly handling people's opinions is a responsibility, and at the same time a measure of the capacity and prestige of the government apparatus."

The city leaders also requested departments and localities to enhance their sense of responsibility, not to shirk or avoid. Each complaint and petition is related to the legitimate rights of the people, so it needs attention and resolution in the spirit of respect for the law, impartiality and transparency.
