Strengthening protection of power grid safety corridors

On the afternoon of September 18, at the People's Committee of Phu Luong commune, the Phu Luong Regional Power Management Team, Thai Nguyen Power Company, organized a conference to propagate the protection of high-voltage power grid safety corridors, prevent and fight fires and explosions, electrical accidents; provide instructions on safe and economical use of electricity, and work on site clearance and construction investment in 2025.

Thai Nguyen Regional Electricity: Ensuring stable grid operation

Phu Luong Regional Power Management Team signed a coordination regulation in ensuring grid safety with representatives of Phu Luong, Vo Tranh, Hop Thanh and Yen Trach communes.

The conference was attended by representatives of specialized departments of Thai Nguyen Electricity Company; Party committees, authorities, organizations and police of Phu Luong, Vo Tranh, Hop Thanh and Yen Trach communes.

In recent times, the management and operation of the power grid in the area has achieved many positive results. However, the situation of violating the safety corridor of the high-voltage power grid is still complicated, posing the risk of electrical incidents and accidents.

According to the report, by the end of August 2025, in the Management Team's area, there were 50 constructions violating the corridor and 906 trees at risk of falling into the power line. In the past time, the unit has handled more than 4,000 violating trees, but in many cases, people have not cooperated, causing difficulties for management work...

During the program, representatives of Phu Luong Regional Power Management Team, People's Committee and Police of communes signed coordination regulations to enhance responsibility and synchronization in corridor protection, disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, ensuring security and order and coordinating information and propaganda.

The leaders of Thai Nguyen Electricity Company acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of the Phu Luong Regional Electricity Management Team, and at the same time requested the parties to continue to coordinate closely, improve management efficiency, promote propaganda and resolutely handle violations, contributing to ensuring safe and stable electricity supply to serve local socio -economic development.
