Announcement of the decision on the organizational structure and personnel of the Customs Sub-Department of Region II.

(HQ Online) - The Customs Sub-Department of Region II recently held a conference to announce the decision stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure, and personnel of the sub-department.

On behalf of the authorized representative, the Head of the Customs Sub-Department, Nguyen Hoang Tuan, presented the decisions and congratulated the 5 Deputy Heads of the Customs Sub-Department Area II.

At the conference, the organizing committee announced Decision No. 966/QD-BTC dated March 5, 2025, of the Minister of Finance on the regulations concerning the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Customs Sub-Department Area II under the Customs Department (Ministry of Finance).

Accordingly, after the reorganization, the Customs Department has 20 subordinate branches nationwide. Among them, the Regional Customs Branch II, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, is responsible for state management of customs in Ho Chi Minh City.

On behalf of the authorized representative, the Head of the Customs Sub-Department, Nguyen Hoang Tuan, presented the decisions and congratulated 16 Heads of Departments, Team Leaders, and equivalent positions under the Customs Sub-Department of Region II.

The conference announced Decision No. 67/QD-CHQ dated March 5, 2025, of the Director of the Customs Department regarding the appointment and transfer of the Deputy Head of the Customs Sub-Department Area II.

Specifically, five civil servants have been appointed or transferred for a limited term to the position of Deputy Head of the Customs Sub-Department of Region II, including: Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh, Director of Hue Customs Department; Mr. Bui Tuan Hai, Deputy Director of Da Nang Customs Department; Mr. Do Thanh Quang, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department; Mr. Phan Minh Le, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department; and Mr. Nguyen Van On, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department. The decision is effective from March 15, 2025.

The conference also announced Decision 87/QD-CHQ dated March 14, 2025, regarding the appointment, transfer, and assignment of 16 civil servants to the positions of Head of Department, Team Leader, and equivalent positions within the Customs Sub-Department of Region II.

Previously, on March 7th in Hanoi , the Customs Department held a conference to announce the decision to appoint temporary heads of sub-departments and equivalent positions within the Department. Among them, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department (General Department of Customs), was appointed to the position of Head of the Customs Sub-department Area II, effective March 15th, 2025.

At the conference, Head of the Sub-Department Nguyen Hoang Tuan congratulated the newly transferred and appointed officials, and at the same time outlined the key tasks that need to be implemented to achieve the assigned goals and objectives in 2025.
