According to the announcement of the Customs Branch of Region II (formerly Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department) to enterprises operating in import-export business; Customs clearance agents; enterprises providing postal and express delivery services; enterprises trading in duty-free goods; enterprises trading in warehouses, yards and ports; enterprises trading in customs declaration software, the names of 9 customs units in Ho Chi Minh City according to the new organizational model from March 15, 2025, are as follows:

Based on the above list of new customs names (customs codes remain the same), it is recommended that businesses change the name of customs units on declaration software and software connecting to exchange information with the Customs system from March 15, 2025.

The list of standard codes for customs declaration nationwide will change at some locations for procedures, and will be regularly updated by the Customs Department at the Information Portal https://www.customs.gov.vn. Enterprises are requested to look up and declare the correct new codes to help facilitate the customs clearance process.

The organizational structure and support contacts to handle problems of the Customs Branch of Region II and its affiliated and subordinate units will be updated on the unit's information portal at https://kv02.customs.gov.vn.

During the initial stages of implementing the new organizational model, thanks to good preparation and support for businesses, import and export goods were cleared quickly, and any problems that arose were immediately supported and resolved for businesses.
