Thai Princess visits and works at Nam Cuong Primary School.

The visit of the Thai Princess aims to develop and expand the Project “Improving the quality of life for children and adolescents in the Asia- Pacific region” in Vietnam. The project has been sponsored by the Princess in a number of schools in Vietnam since 2006 with many positive results, contributing to improving the overall quality of students in disadvantaged areas. Nam Cuong Primary School (Lao Cai city) is the unit surveyed and selected to participate in the Project.

At the meeting, the leaders of Nam Cuong Primary School reported an overview of the school and the current conditions to participate in the project. Nam Cuong Primary School has a total area of nearly 16,000 m2, with fully equipped facilities to ensure educational activities. On this occasion, the Thai Princess presented teachers and students of Nam Cuong Primary School with 5 desktop computers, 1 box of story books, 2 bottles of filtered water, 2 boxes of medicine for school health care and many stationery for studying.
