The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs' Trade Union won the Encouragement Prize in the competition on administrative reform.

On November 1, at the headquarters of Voice of Vietnam , the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union and the Ministry of Home Affairs organized the final round of the contest "Introducing models and explaining administrative reform ideas" in 2024.


The 2024 "Introducing models and explaining administrative reform ideas" contest was organized by the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs to promote administrative reform propaganda, raise awareness of cadres, civil servants and public employees about the content, meaning and importance of administrative reform;

Promote the dynamism and creativity of cadres, civil servants and public employees in proposing new, useful and practical administrative reform models, solutions and initiatives; contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of consulting and service at agencies, units and localities.

Through the contest, we aim to recognize and commend the efforts of trade unions at all levels and cadres, civil servants and public employees in administrative reform, and at the same time, create a vibrant emulation movement among cadres, civil servants and public employees, bringing the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels into life.

This year's contest has 14 participating units, including 10 Trade Unions of central ministries and branches (Including Trade Unions: Ministry of Home Affairs; Voice of Vietnam; Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Planning and Investment; Government Office ; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ministry of Science and Technology; Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Central Office of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) and 04 Provincial and Municipal Civil Servants' Trade Unions (Including Civil Servants' Trade Unions: Hai Phong city; Can Tho city; Dak Nong province; Lao Cai province).

After a day of activities, the teams introduced administrative reform models that have been effectively implemented in their agencies, units and localities, and at the same time proposed new, useful and practical administrative reform ideas, solutions and initiatives, contributing to improving the efficiency, quality and service to the people and businesses of agencies, units and localities.

With careful preparation, the teams have effectively promoted and spread the values ​​that the models, initiatives and solutions brought, contributing to arousing the enthusiasm for innovation and creativity of the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees, improving the quality of state management activities and serving the people and businesses.

As a result of the contest, the first prize went to the Can Tho City Civil Servants' Union; the second prize was awarded to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Union; and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Agency's Union.

Third prize includes the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union; Voice of Vietnam Radio Trade Union; Lao Cai Provincial Civil Servants Trade Union; Government Office Trade Union.

The encouragement prizes went to the Trade Union of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the Trade Union of the Ministry of Planning and Investment; the Trade Union of the Ministry of Finance; the Trade Union of Civil Servants of Hai Phong City; the Trade Union of Civil Servants of Dak Nong Province; the Trade Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology; and the Trade Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition to the main awards, the Organizing Committee also awarded subsidiary awards for best communication, best office attire, best idea, unit with department-level leaders or higher attending, unit with large audience; and skit applying modern technology.

At the contest, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union Ngo Duy Hieu said that this contest is a highlight in the administrative reform innovation process according to the requirements and orientations of the Party and State before the country enters a new stage, the era of national development.

The contest contributes to continuing to raise awareness among union members and workers in the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union about responsibilities and specific solutions for administrative reform.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong said: "The Party has identified administrative reform as one of the breakthroughs and strategies for national development, making an important contribution to the construction and completion of the socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam."

Officials, civil servants and public employees must be fully equipped with knowledge and deep, comprehensive awareness of this major policy, thereby creating consensus and unity in action to effectively carry out assigned administrative reform tasks, creating a driving force to promote national development.

Bringing to the contest a vivid performance of models and explanations of administrative reform ideas, the Trade Union of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs introduced administrative reform models that have been effectively implemented in their agencies and units.

At the same time, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs' Trade Union also proposed new, useful and practical ideas, solutions and initiatives on administrative reform, contributing to improving the efficiency, quality and service to the people and businesses of agencies and units... practical and easy to understand, therefore, in the final round of the contest, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs won the consolation prize, contributing to promoting propaganda work, raising awareness, promoting the role and responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees and Trade Union organizations in implementing the overall program of state administrative reform for the period 2021-2030.
