Representative of the Executive Board of the Trade Union of GGS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Industrial Park on the left bank of the Da River, Hoa Binh City) supervises the process of processing and preparing meals for workers.
Since its inception (2013), GGS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Left Bank Industrial Park of Da River, Hoa Binh City) has signed a contract with a shift meal provider to take care of the health and ensure nutritional meals for its employees. Currently, the company prepares nearly 800 meals for employees every day, each worth 25,000 VND, 100% free of charge by the company, with a rich and diverse menu, suitable for the taste of employees.
Ms. Bui Thi Hien, a worker at GGS Vietnam Co., Ltd., shared: "The shift meal not only shows the concern but also demonstrates the company's responsibility for the health of its employees. After having lunch at the company, my colleagues and I have time to rest and recharge."
The provincial industrial park trade union has nearly 17,000 employees, about 16,500 union members in 41 grassroots trade unions. Promoting the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees, the provincial industrial park trade union focuses on directing grassroots trade unions to mobilize and guide enterprises to properly implement policies for employees according to regulations. Every year, the provincial industrial park trade union conducts supervision of the implementation of policies and regimes on employment, wages, working hours, rest regimes, social insurance, health insurance, etc. for employees at enterprises. Maintain the organization of dialogue conferences between employers and employees to promptly resolve issues arising from the grassroots. Propose and negotiate with enterprises to build Collective Labor Agreements that are beneficial to employees such as meal regimes, childcare, travel allowances, etc.
The activities to care for union members and workers were planned by the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the province from the beginning of the year, and at the same time, reviewed cases of workers in difficult circumstances to support and help. According to statistics, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the province presented 1,425 gifts, with a total value of 1.28 billion VND. Maintained the implementation of the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" for the workforce. Organized cultural, artistic and sports exchanges to create a competitive atmosphere to welcome the new year.
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2025, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union guided the grassroots trade unions to respond to the series of activities of the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month... Notably, the signing of welfare programs for union members and employees; organizing subsidy booths for union members and employees at the Left Bank of the Da River Industrial Park and Luong Son Industrial Park. Visiting and giving gifts to union members and employees; praising exemplary and excellent union members and employees. In addition, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union paid attention to and organized to improve the qualifications and professional skills of nearly 11,900 employees.
To specify the implementation of targets and contents related to women's work in the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the province organized activities to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, International Day of Happiness on March 20, and respond to Ao Dai Week in 2025... 36/36 Trade Unions of non-state enterprises that meet the conditions have established mass women's work committees, reaching 100%; 12,044 female employees registered to implement the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at housework".
Comrade Tran Phuong Dong, Chairman of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union, affirmed: "Caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees is an important task of the trade union organization. In the coming time, the Trade Union will continue to grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, create conditions and help union members feel secure in their work and production. Promote the signing of cooperation agreements on welfare programs for union members.
