The Vietnamese community in Denmark is a bridge of friendship between the two countries.

During her official visit to Denmark, on November 20, VicePresident Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Denmark, met with embassy staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Denmark.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan informed overseas Vietnamese about the domestic situation in many fields and affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam always pay attention to and consider the overseas Vietnamese community an inseparable part of the great national unity bloc; achievements in building and developing the country in recent years have had important contributions from the overseas Vietnamese community, including the Vietnamese community in Denmark.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan assessed that the Vietnamese community in Denmark has always strived to promote the tradition of mutual love, solidarity, and mutual assistance to integrate into the local socio -economic life; maintain the teaching and learning of Vietnamese, organize cultural activities, preserve national traditions; contribute to building the image of Vietnam in Denmark and act as a bridge for the friendly relations between the two countries. The team of Vietnamese experts, intellectuals, and businessmen in Denmark is gradually growing, with many contributions to the locality and the country.

Acknowledging the aspirations and proposals of the people, the Vice President affirmed that he would transfer them to domestic agencies for research and soon have appropriate solutions. The Vice President hoped and believed that the people would continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, unity, and joining hands to build a strong and developing community, with an increasingly high role and position in the local society; continue to act as a bridge for the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark; turn to their homeland, and make practical contributions to the cause of national construction.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also praised the efforts and sense of responsibility of the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Denmark and asked the Embassy to thoroughly grasp the foreign policy and viewpoints of the Party and State, continue to do well in foreign affairs, promote multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, and at the same time, pay attention to doing well in community work, supporting and helping to build a united, developed Vietnamese community in Denmark that always looks towards the homeland.
