Electricity usage increased by 16.6% over the same period

QNgTV- In the first nine months of the year, the province's electricity capacity reached 628 MW, an increase of 16.6% over the same period in 2024. Quang Ngai Electricity Company has been implementing many drastic solutions, contributing to ensuring safe and stable electricity supply, meeting the electricity needs for production, business and people's daily life.

Quang Ngai Electricity Company is currently Providing national grid electricity to 96/96 communes, wards and special zones in the province. The number of households with electricity reached 99.96%. The unit directly sold electricity to 100% of households in the province. After merging with the province, the Company has made efforts to ensure electricity supply for all important events in the area. In the first 9 months of the year, commercial electricity output reached nearly 2.8 billion kWh, an increase of 18.22% over the same period; Power loss was at 1.89%, down 0.13% over the same period.

With the goal of saving at least 2% of total electricity consumption in 2025 according to Directive No. 20 dated June 8, 2023 of the Prime Minister , Quang Ngai Electricity Company has developed a plan and implemented electricity saving activities in 2025 with many activities to promote economical and efficient energy use. At the same time, allocate capital to renovate, upgrade and expand the rural low-voltage grid; speed up the progress of construction investment projects; strengthen the repair, maintenance and cleaning of the grid; as well as check, detect and promptly handle defects of power equipment and grid.
