The 2025 Sen Village Festival is an important political and cultural event in the series of activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). This is also an opportunity for the entire Party, people and army to express their gratitude and deep appreciation to President Ho Chi Minh; honoring his ideological, moral and stylistic values - a solid foundation for the revolutionary cause today and tomorrow.
This year, the Sen Village Festival will be held from May 6 to 19, 2025 on a national scale, organized by Nghe An province in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Public Security . Recognizing the importance of the event, Nghe An Electricity Company has proactively developed a detailed plan to ensure power supply, preparing all technical and human resources to best serve the festival.
Under the direction of the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Northern Power Corporation, since the beginning of May 2025, PC Nghe An has coordinated with relevant agencies and the festival organizing committee to survey and inspect the power grid system at the locations of the Sen Village Festival and priority power supply points. The company has periodically inspected the power line system and transformer stations throughout the area, focusing especially on stations at risk of overload. On that basis, it has carried out load sharing, capacity increase, and appropriate switching, ensuring stable operating parameters according to regulations.
Within the framework of the activities of the 2025 Lotus Village Festival, in Nam Dan district, Uncle Ho's hometown, and Vinh city, 24 major programs will take place, such as organizing the National Wrestling Championship; Exchange of film artists and film crews about Uncle Ho; Incense offering ceremony at Kim Lien Relic Site; Inauguration of the 9-storey waterfall at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan; Opening of the Lotus Village Festival Sports Competition; Lotus Village Singing Festival, etc. Especially the opening program of the Lotus Village Festival and the inauguration of the Monument "Uncle Ho visits his hometown".
At Lang Sen Stadium where the opening ceremony was held, PC Nghe An arranged the main power source using 01 generator with a capacity of 1,000kVA- 0.4kV for the stage. The power source for the lighting system around the stadium is from transformer station No. 11 Kim Lien with a capacity of 400kVA 35/0.4kV on Highway 371 E15.15 supplying electricity to households in the stadium area and lighting cabinets in Lang Sen Stadium area and 02 backup sources using 01 generator with a capacity of 500kVA- 0.4kV, the grid power source after transformer station No. 11 Kim Lien 400kVA 35/0.4kV.
Mr. Le Thanh Phong - Director of Nam Dan Power Company said: “Receiving instructions from Nghe An Power Company, regarding ensuring power supply for the activities of the Sen Village Festival in 2025, Nam Dan Power Company has proactively worked with Kim Lien Relic Site and event organizers to understand the actual capacity needs and time of the event. Immediately after that, the unit established power supply teams, assigned specific tasks as well as developed backup plans with the goal of providing safe, stable and continuous power supply.
Before the festival, the Electricity Department reviewed the operation of the regional power grid, installed the metering system and accompanying accessories and materials, pulled wires, laid cables, installed reversing switches at the stage, and handled low-voltage line contacts to best serve the festival. In addition, it strengthened the inspection of the power grid safety corridor, promoted day and night inspections with specialized equipment such as flycams, thermal cameras, etc. to promptly detect and handle defects on the medium-voltage grid. Before the festival officially took place, all connection and test runs were completed, and all locations requiring power supply were ensured to be safe, in accordance with regulations and technical standards.
On the evening of May 19, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City, Nghe An Province, the art program "From Lotus Village to Ho Chi Minh City" will be held. PC Nghe An has arranged the main source using 01 generator with a capacity of 1,000kVA- 0.4kV for the sound system, stage lighting, mobile TV vehicle... and 02 backup sources using 01 generator with a capacity of 500kVA- 0.4kV, the grid power source after the 560kVA-22/0.4kV transformer station DZ475E15.7 Square.
Regarding the power grid, Vinh City Power Company has organized night and day inspections of the entire power grid, focusing on inspecting line 475E15-7 and Ho Chi Minh Square substation. Thoroughly handle the problems discovered after the inspection to ensure stable power supply for the program and people's daily life in the area.
Mr. Le Quang Thanh - Deputy Director of Nghe An Electricity Company said: “Determining the importance of the 2025 Lotus Village Festival, the company and other Power Companies have prepared a plan to ensure safe and stable power supply to serve the chain of events. The Board of Directors of the company has reviewed and directed units to perform their tasks well, strengthen discipline in operation, protect security, labor safety, and prevent fire and explosion. Strictly implement the 24/24h power operation and repair regime. Materials, equipment, communication systems and means of transport are fully prepared, ready, and quickly handled if any incidents arise. At the same time, units are required to strengthen inspection, strengthen the power grid, review and handle defects on the power grid to best serve the activities commemorating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 1890). The activities of the 2025 Lotus Village Festival will take place until May 19, 2025.
