Son La Power Company strengthens forces for Ha Tinh province

On September 30, although Son La province was still affected by heavy rain and many landslides caused difficulties in travel, Son La Power Company was still determined to organize a working group to support Ha Tinh Power Company in overcoming the power grid problem caused by storm No. 10.

The working group consisted of 64 officers and employees, divided into two shock teams mobilized from grassroots units under Son La Electricity Company.

The working group was led by Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Deputy Director of Son La Province Electricity Company. Also participating were the Head of Safety Department and key technical staff with extensive experience in managing, operating and repairing the power grid.

The Board of Directors and Trade Union of Son La Power Company met and assigned tasks to the shock team to support Ha Tinh Power Company.

To ensure work progress and efficiency, the working group brought along full equipment, materials, cranes and specialized equipment.

The shock team will closely coordinate with Ha Tinh Electricity Company to participate in supporting troubleshooting work, restoring the affected power grid system, contributing to the early resumption of power supply to serve the people.

Before departure, the Board of Directors and the Company's Trade Union thoroughly instructed and required the entire delegation to put safety first during the entire mission.

The timely presence of officers and employees of Son La Power Company in Ha Tinh not only contributed to sharing difficulties with the other unit, but also demonstrated the solidarity and readiness of the electricity industry to support in all natural disaster situations, for the goal of ensuring safe and stable electricity supply to serve the people.

In Son La, due to the impact of storm No. 10, power outages occurred at transformer stations in the Phu Yen-Bac Yen, Moc Chau-Van Ho and Song Ma-Sop Cop areas, affecting more than 6,800 customers.

Due to the impact of storm No. 10, many electric poles in communes and villages in Son La were knocked down and broken.

The storm also caused landslides and washed away roads, cutting off many areas with broken and fallen electric poles and is currently inaccessible.

Son La Power Company mobilized forces to reach the areas, urgently overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10. By 11:00 a.m. on September 30, the problem had been fixed, restoring power to more than 2,400 customers.

Currently, Son La Power Company is actively checking and fixing the problem and calculating the damage. Some flooded and landslide areas are still inaccessible.
