Lam Dong Aluminum Company launched a tree planting campaign to forever remember Uncle Ho.

(LĐ online) - On the morning of May 19, Lam Dong Aluminum One Member Co., Ltd. - TKV launched a tree planting program to forever remember Uncle Ho and celebrate the 16th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (May 25, 2007 - May 25, 2023).

Attending the tree planting program at the Alumina Factory area were leaders of the Party Committee; Executive Board; leaders of the Trade Union, Youth Union and representatives of departments and workshops in the Company.
At the program, the forces participated in planting 40 new pine trees, 5 square-leafed almond trees and 14 fruit trees (plum, jackfruit, mango), 150 hybrid acacia trees, 800 string of pearls trees... At the same time, they planted new string of pearls trees along the borders, 50 bougainvillea trees along the roads in the Alumin Factory; cared for, pruned and fertilized the plants; cared for and maintained the green space at the units.

Speaking at the tree planting program "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho", Mr. Nguyen Van Phong - Party Secretary, Director of Lam Dong Aluminum Company, said: In recent years, Lam Dong Aluminum Company has always focused on tree planting, creating environmental landscapes to contribute to the successful implementation of the Factory - Park Model at the Alumina Factory, ensuring the environmental criteria of "Bright - Green - Clean". Right from the first years of taking over the Project, the Company has deployed greening the Factory's ground with rows of acacia trees, then based on the infrastructure development planning, the Company has developed a green tree plan for each area. From there, every year the Company will make a plan to plant additional trees, replacing trees according to the approved planning.

Along with planting trees and building landscapes, the Company has implemented and applied the 5S program to improve the areas to be always clean, tidy and convenient. At the same time, it always maintains good industrial hygiene, collects and treats waste according to regulations. The total number of trees and green area currently being maintained and cared for is 27,000 trees of all kinds, 17,000 m2 ^of various types of grass, 5,000 m2 of campus and landscapes.
Lam Dong Aluminum Company always identifies annual tree planting as a very important task and a practical activity carried out by the Company to promote environmental protection awareness, contributing to improving the green, clean and beautiful landscape environment.
