Over 500 million VND for durian sample appraisal

Accordingly, the project will have two parts: Part 1 is the quantitative analysis of pesticide residues and heavy metals on durian products. Part 1 will analyze 114 durian samples; 4 active ingredients of pesticide residues, lead, cadmium/sample. Part 2 will conduct pest assessment on durian products with the analysis of 114 durian samples; 6 species of organisms/sample. These are chemicals, heavy metals as well as harmful organisms to durian trees for export as well as domestic consumption.

The total cost of the project is 503 million VND with the goal of analyzing the risks of harm to concentrated raw material areas in order to have appropriate adjustments and protect sustainable raw material areas.
