Prime Minister : The targets for completing projects by 2025 remain unchanged

Accordingly, the Prime Minister stated that the goals of completing projects in 2025 remain unchanged (resolutely no capital increase, no negativity, no extension of implementation time...). The Prime Minister requested the completion of the important political task of having 3,000km of expressway nationwide in 2025; basically completing Long Thanh International Airport and starting the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project (at 5 locations on December 19, 2025).

The Prime Minister directed to mobilize all resources, equipment, machinery, and apply modern technical solutions to complete expressway projects such as An Huu - Cao Lanh, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang , Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, Dong Dang - Tra Linh, Huu Nghi - Chi Lang... on December 19, 2025.

Along with that, public-private partnership projects must carry out procedures to start construction in May 2025.

The Prime Minister assigned the State Bank of Vietnam to urgently deploy solutions to mobilize VND500,000 billion for investment in strategic infrastructure projects, science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; and assigned Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc to direct the Ministry of Finance to allocate sufficient resources to deploy investment in important infrastructure projects.

Regarding the implementation of airport projects, the Prime Minister requested the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) to ensure the completion of component project 4 in 2025; the competent authorities are responsible for the implementation progress of component projects to ensure synchronous and effective exploitation; be responsible to the Party, the Government, the Prime Minister and the people for the implementation progress, ensuring the basic completion of the Long Thanh International Airport project on December 19, 2025.
