The program was organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Delegates from Hanoi attending the program included Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation Bui Thi Minh Hoai.

“You are Ho Chi Minh” is a program in a series of cultural and artistic activities aimed at widely propagating and educating all classes of people to fully and deeply understand the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause. The life, career, ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh are precious legacies of our Party, our people and our nation; they are the belief and motivation for today's generation to realize the aspiration for Vietnam's strength and development.

Throughout his life and career, President Ho Chi Minh used many different names and aliases associated with the nature and purpose of each historical situation. Each of his names is a legacy because it not only contains the story of a great man but also reflects the history of the nation and the profound nature of the times.
The special art program "You are Ho Chi Minh" with three segments, exploits in a simple, intimate, and touching way the portrait of President Ho through an approach to the heritage from his most typical names.

In which, the first part “Nguyen Sinh Cung - Nguyen Tat Thanh” is associated with the national values that shaped his qualities. The second part “Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh” is the period of absorbing the quintessence of humanity, finding the way to save the country, participating in international movements, founding the Party and the great and brilliant achievements in the revolutionary stages of 1930-1975 and the period of renovation - integration - development.
Section 3 “Vietnam! The Era of Rising” affirms that His name gathers the sacred soul of the country, drawing the two words Vietnam, independent, free, and happy, on the world map.

In the program, the audience enjoyed artistic performances and touching stories that vividly portrayed the image of the genius leader, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, and the outstanding cultural celebrity; at the same time, contributing to the propaganda and education of patriotic traditions, revolutionary ideals, ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh to a large number of cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation, thereby strengthening the great national unity bloc, promoting internal strength in the cause of national construction, defense, and international integration.

The art performances were elaborately staged, combining traditional and modern music and dance, staged scenes and 3D mapping projection technology, creating a deep impression on the audience. These were the opera medley "Uncle Ho with children" with the works "Last night I dreamed of meeting Uncle Ho" (Xuan Giao), "Green pinwheel" (Le Anh Thuy), "Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh more than children" (Phong Nha); the song "Listening to the ferry singing at night, missing Uncle" (An Thuyen); the scene "Father and son for great cause"; the song "Footage ahead" (Pham Minh Tuan); the scene "Embryonic image of the country"; the mashup "The Party flag - The Party is my life" (Van An - Nguyen Duc Toan); the poetic scene "The five-pointed golden star with a dreamy soul around"; the song "Each step goes further to love the Fatherland"; the combination "When leaving, Uncle told me to still have mountains and rivers"; song “Ho Chi Minh Song” (Ewan MacColl)…
The voices of Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Viet Danh, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Linh Chi Sao Mai, Ha Quynh Nhu, Thanh Phong, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Huyen Trang, Mai Chi, An Thu An... along with the theater, music and dance artists performed with great emotion, contributing to fully conveying the meaning of the program.
