Party and State leaders attend art program about President Ho Chi Minh

On the evening of May 18, the special art program "You are Ho Chi Minh" took place at Ba Dinh Square (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi ).

The program is directed by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Vietnam Television, Hanoi People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, Netmedia Joint Stock Company and related units in coordination to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Attending the program were: General Secretary To Lam; Politburo members: President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.

Also attending were Politburo members; Secretariat members; Vice Presidents, Deputy Prime Ministers, Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly; Party Central Committee members, alternate Party Central Committee members; leaders of central and Hanoi departments, ministries, branches and mass organizations, and many invited delegates from agencies and units.

The special art program “You are Ho Chi Minh” was elaborately staged, with a unique combination of historical documents, animations and modern musical performances, bringing many special highlights, sacred moments of pride, emotion and strong inspiration to millions of Vietnamese people.

The program is structured in 3 segments. Of which, segment 1 with the theme “Nguyen Sinh Cung - Nguyen Tat Thanh,” is associated with the national values ​​that shaped his qualities.

Section 2 has the theme “Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh,” the period of absorbing the quintessence of humanity, finding the way to save the country, participating in international movements, founding the Party and the great and brilliant achievements in the revolutionary stages of 1930 - 1975 and the period of Renovation - integration - development that we call the Ho Chi Minh era.

Section 3 “Vietnam! The Era of Rising Up” affirms that His name is the gathering of the sacred soul of the country, drawing the two words Vietnam: independence, freedom, and happiness on the world map.

He is the most noble embodiment of the qualities, intelligence, will, and aspirations of the Vietnamese people. His life, career, and legacy are the driving force for the journey to realize Vietnam's aspiration for strength and development - the aspiration.

The art performances were elaborately staged, combining traditional and modern music and dance, staged scenes and 3D mapping projection technology to highlight and create highlights such as the opera medley "Uncle Ho with children" with works “Last night I dreamed of meeting Uncle Ho” (composed by Xuan Giao) - “Green pinwheel” (composed by Le Anh Thuy and the scene of Uncle Ho with children) - “Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh more than children” (composed by Phong Nha); “Listening to the ferry singing at night, missing Uncle Ho” (composed by An Thuyen); “Footprints in the front” (composed by Pham Minh Tuan); Mashup “The Party flag and the Party is my life” (composed by Van An, Nguyen Duc Toan); “Each step makes me love the Fatherland more” (composed by Ho Bac); “You are Ho Chi Minh” (composed by Anh Tu)…

Along with the special art performances, some scenes such as “Father and Son for a Great Cause” excerpted from the play “Debt to the Country” by author Nguyen The Ky; the scene, poetry - dance “Embryonic Country”; Poetry scene “Five-pointed Golden Star, Dreaming Soul Around”; the combination “Going Out, Uncle Ho Advises the Continent of the Country”… left a deep impression on the audience.

The program features famous artists such as Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Viet Danh, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Linh Chi Sao Mai, Ha Quynh Nhu, Thanh Phong, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Be Singer Group, Huyen Trang, Mai Chi, An Thu An; artists from drama theaters, artists from Vietnam National Music, Dance, etc.

The production team of the art program “You are Ho Chi Minh” hopes to approach the audience closely with the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh associated with the legacy of his most typical names through the segments named “Nguyen Sinh Cung - Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh” associated with the personal qualities, national cultural characteristics and human quintessence that have shaped his qualities, intelligence and thinking.

Ho Chi Minh's legacy with its ideological foundation, moral example, and independent and autonomous thinking is the driving force for us to firmly step forward on the journey to realize the aspiration of a strong Vietnam.

The art program "You are Ho Chi Minh" is part of a series of cultural and artistic activities aimed at widely propagating and educating people of all walks of life to fully and deeply understand the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.

Through artistic performances and touching stories, the program vividly depicts the image of the genius leader, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, and an outstanding cultural figure; at the same time, it contributes to propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary ideals, ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh to a large number of cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life, especially the young generation.
