171 areas qualified for organic production for crops and livestock

By 2025, Lam Dong strives to expand the organic farming area to 1,600 hectares, while developing organic livestock, including 2,000 dairy cows, 400 beef cattle and 20,000 egg-laying chickens. The goal is for 100% of the organic farming area and livestock to meet certification standards, affirming the quality and reputation of the products.

During the period of 2020 - 2024, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong has deployed 19 organic production models, supporting 49 organizations and individuals to be granted organic certification. The province also focuses on training and improving knowledge for people through 36 training courses with 1,368 participants. In addition, 6 trade promotion campaigns have been organized, introducing 11 organic agricultural products to the market, and supporting branding for 7 products. Currently, the total area of ​​organic certified crop production has reached 1,708.18 hectares, an increase of 1,694.14 hectares compared to 2020, exceeding the plan by 6.76%.
