| Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Kitakyushu City Water Supply and Sewerage Department, Hai Phong Water Supply Joint Stock Company and Tien Giang Water Supply One Member Co., Ltd. |
Within the framework of the forum, organizations and enterprises of the two countries also exchanged memorandums of understanding towards forming an ecosystem of cooperation in innovation and high-tech industry between Vietnam and Japan.
Also at the forum, Tien Giang Water Supply Company Limited signed a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation with Kitakyushu City Water Supply and Drainage Department and Hai Phong Water Supply Joint Stock Company.

According to the signed content, experts from Kitakyushu (KKW) and Hai Phong (HPW) will coordinate to support training and technical advice for Tien Giang Water Supply Company Limited to solve problems such as: Reducing non-revenue water loss, effectively operating water treatment plants, improving clean water quality. At the same time, the three parties will periodically discuss and review the progress and effectiveness of cooperation to ensure synchronous and effective implementation of activities.
Through this cooperation program, Tien Giang Water Supply Company Limited hopes to gradually improve management, enhance service quality, and move towards deploying advanced U-BCF biological filtration technology in line with the sustainable development plan for the water supply industry that Tien Giang province is aiming for.
This is also an important initial step in the roadmap to complete the master plan for the water supply sector of Tien Giang province towards safety and sustainable development, in accordance with the socio -economic planning approved by the Prime Minister.
