Sesko was brought on in the 58th minute to replace Matheus Cunha, but only played for 30 minutes before having to leave the field in the 88th minute. Speaking after the match, coach Amorim said of Sesko: "We need to check more. He felt pain in his knee, and that worries me a lot. We think he has a real problem."

Coach Amorim admitted that the team may be forced to add personnel in the January transfer window. "We have anticipated that since the summer, but now we need to prepare carefully. When the market opens, if there is an opportunity to improve the squad, MU will have to act," Amorim shared.
