Because nowadays not every family can afford to send their children to university because the tuition is too high, vocational schools have low tuition but children do not choose to study vocational training.
Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Education and Training said that in recent years, the Ministry of Education and Training has paid great attention to career guidance and student orientation after high school.

The Ministry of Education and Training has advised the Government to issue Decision 522/QD-TTg dated May 14, 2018 approving the Project "Career education and student orientation in general education for the period 2018-2025".
Pursuant to Resolution No. 88/2014/QH13 dated November 28, 2014 of the National Assembly on innovation of general education programs and textbooks, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 26, 2018 promulgating the General Education Program (2018 General Education Program), in which the 2018 General Education Program is designed in 2 phases (9-year basic education phase, from grade 1 to grade 9 and 3-year career orientation phase, from grade 10 to grade 12).
Currently, the Ministry of Education and Training continues to implement the tasks of Project 522 in parallel with the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program such as: implementing career education through subjects and educational activities of the 2018 General Education Program;
Orientation of student streaming right from the end of basic education stage (end of junior high school) and career orientation education stage (high school level), basic education stage implements the motto of comprehensive and integrated education, career orientation education stage implements the motto of differentiated education, ensuring students have access to careers, preparing for quality post-secondary education;
Continue to raise awareness of career education and orientation of high school students through innovation of content, methods and forms of career education in high schools;
Develop a team of managers, teachers, and counselors to do career education work in high schools.
In response to voters' opinions, in the coming time, the Ministry of Education and Training will continue to direct localities and educational institutions to seriously implement Project 522; strengthen propaganda to change the awareness of students and parents in career guidance and streaming.
At the same time, coordinate with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to effectively carry out career guidance and orientation for students in general education to study vocational education levels according to Directive No. 24/CT-TTg dated May 28, 2020 of the Prime Minister on promoting the development of human resources with vocational skills, contributing to improving labor productivity and increasing national competitiveness in the new situation.
