Reporting on the annual work, Permanent Vice President of the Hoa Binh Provincial Journalists Association Bui Thuy Hang said that in 2023, the Journalists Associations of provinces and cities in the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Associations of provinces and cities along National Highway 6 will propagate and deploy to the press team Directive No. 12/CT-TTg dated May 12, 2021 on strengthening propaganda work, orienting communication and press activities to serve the task of protecting the Fatherland.

Timely rectify and handle violations in press and media activities; coordinate with leaders of press agencies to guide cadres and members in propaganda work to celebrate political events and major holidays of the country, provinces and cities.
Over the past year, the Journalists Association in the Emulation Cluster has coordinated with press agencies and the Center for Professional Development - Vietnam Journalists Association to organize professional development courses to improve the professional qualifications of journalist officials and members.
In addition, press agencies and secretariats of journalist associations have proactively developed plans for self-study and training at the association, creating conditions for cadres and members to learn, exchange and discuss professional expertise with other associations to improve their professional expertise, meet the requirements of performing political tasks and successfully completing assigned tasks.

Typically, the Hanoi Journalists Association opened 5 professional training courses with the following topics: "Skills in creating high-quality journalistic works"; "Using smartphones to produce journalistic products"; "Specialized skills in photojournalism"... The Hoa Binh Provincial Journalists Association organized 1 professional training course with the topic "Skills in creating high-quality journalistic works"...
In addition, the Journalists Associations of provinces and cities in the Cluster carry out many important activities such as: Organizing the Spring Press Festival, the National Press Festival; supporting high-quality press works and participating in press awards; performing well the inspection and supervision work; foreign affairs activities...
The Journalists Associations in the Emulation Cluster have effectively implemented the work of supporting High Quality, National Press Awards, Press Awards on "Party Building", "Studying and Following the Moral Example of Ho Chi Minh"... and other provincial and specialized press awards... attracting thousands of press works of members in the Cluster to participate and win many high awards, receiving Certificates of Merit from the Central, Ministries, branches and provinces.

At the summary meeting, representatives of the Journalists Associations of 5 provinces and cities in the Emulation Cluster also signed the emulation agreement for 2024. The Journalists Association of Hoa Binh province presented the rotating flag and handed over the task of head of the Emulation Cluster to the Journalists Association of Hanoi city.
Within the framework of the program, the Journalists Association of the Emulation Cluster of provinces and cities along Highway 6 organized the award ceremony for the journalism contest with the theme "Preserving and promoting national cultural identity in the integration process" in 2023, including: 2 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 5 C prizes and 10 Encouragement prizes.
