Not only is it a place to preserve, store, display and exploit the values of national cultural heritage, Ha Giang Provincial Museum is also a place to preserve many heroic memories of the resistance wars of our army and people. In particular, the resistance war against the US to save the country ended 50 years ago, but the documents and artifacts are still carefully and vividly preserved at the Provincial Museum.

The provincial museum contributes to promoting andeducating patriotic traditions, helping the younger generation better understand the sacrifices of previous generations.

The realistic and vivid images or the intact relics and artifacts of the resistance war against the US to save the country displayed at the Provincial Museum have helped visitors and people understand more deeply about the heroic and glorious fighting period of the nation. In particular, it contributes to propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, helping the younger generation understand more about the sacrifices of previous generations.

It is known that Ha Giang Provincial Museum is currently preserving nearly 300 documentary photos, memorabilia, and artifacts related to the resistance war against the US to save the country, mainly household items, weapons, certificates of merit, diaries, etc. Over the years, along with proactively collecting and updating more documents, materials, artifacts, and artifacts, the inventory and preservation of these artifacts have always been strictly and closely implemented according to regulations. Accordingly, depending on the material of each artifact, there will be different ways of preservation to avoid dust, mold, and rust.

The relics and artifacts displayed and preserved at the Provincial Museum are the most vivid and authentic evidence of the heroic war that ended with the great victory in the spring of 1975, completely liberating the South and reunifying the country./.
