Rescue 4 fishermen whose boat sank in Tho Chu waters

On the afternoon of November 25, the Commander of Tho Chau Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command) said that all four fishermen who were injured in a sinking fishing boat in Tho Chu waters have recovered and returned to their families.

Commander of Tho Chau Border Guard Station visited and encouraged the 4 fishermen.

On the evening of November 24, upon receiving information from the Provincial Border Guard Command about the sinking of fishing boat CM-05967-TS, 4 fishermen fell into the sea and went missing, the Commander of Tho Chau Border Guard Station directed the two border control stations Bai Ngu and Bai Dong to use the information and communication system to notify and call on fishing boats operating around the area where the boat was in distress to assist in the search and rescue. Tho Chau Border Guard Station mobilized 6 fishing boats of local fishermen and fishing boats of Gia Lai province anchored in the area to participate in the search.

At about 7:30 a.m. on November 25, Tho Chau Border Guard Station coordinated with officers and soldiers of Regiment 152 (Military Region 9) to successfully rescue 4 fishermen.
