Da Nang spends nearly 100 billion VND to build and renovate 3 cultural works

Specifically, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has just approved the investment project to build a park area west of Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple (An Hai Tay Ward, Son Tra District) with a total cost of nearly 71 billion VND; the project implementation period is from now until 2025.

The project's goal is to build a park that contributes to improving people's spiritual life through tourism and services.

The special feature of this space is the design of a continuous water surface connecting in the east-west direction with the meaning of simulating Vinh Te canal to recreate the pioneering work of Thoai Ngoc Hau; spanning the canal is a small bridge connecting the two banks of the landscape with different architectural styles and spaces.

At the park on the edge of the temple wall, there will be a bas-relief depicting the biography, life, career and achievements of Thoai Ngoc Hau.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City also approved the investment policy of more than 14 billion VND to renovate and repair the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture, thereby improving the architectural items, landscape, and system of displaying artifacts of the museum; contributing to improving the quality of management, protection of the museum, preserving and promoting the unique and valuable cultural heritage of Champa of the nation, improving the quality of tourism services and the effectiveness of scientific research.

Along with that, the People's Committee of Da Nang City approved the investment policy for the project to upgrade and renovate the Trung Vuong Theater in Da Nang, invested by the Department of Culture and Sports, with the implementation period from 2024 to 2026. The total investment of the project is nearly 11.5 billion VND from the city budget.

The project's objective is to invest in upgrading and renovating the Trung Vuong Theater in Da Nang, preventing degradation and damage, and improving facilities to better serve the cultural and artistic enjoyment needs of the people and tourists, while meeting the requirements for organizing political and cultural events of the city.
