At the end of June, the City People's Council issued Resolution No. 10/2025/NQ-HDND and Resolution No. 11/2025/NQ-HDND re-stipulating the collection rates, collection and payment subjects, management and use of fees for visiting cultural works of Da Nang Museum and Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture.

Accordingly, from July 3, the two museums will be free to visit for the following subjects: people with disabilities, people who enjoy preferential policies on cultural enjoyment according to regulations, children under 16 years old and students, seniors aged 60 and over, and diplomatic guests.

In addition, the two museums also offer free admission to all visitors on four holidays, including: the first day of Lunar New Year, City Liberation Day (March 29), Hung King's Commemoration Day (March 10 of the lunar calendar) and Vietnam National Day (September 2).

In addition to the above subjects and holidays, Da Nang Museum applies a ticket price of 50,000 VND/ticket/person and Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture applies a ticket price of 60,000 VND/ticket/person for Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

Notably, from July 3, local citizens and students visiting the Da Nang Museum and the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture will apply a common ticket price of VND 20,000/ticket/person.

This is a major change, creating opportunities for local people, pupils and students to access and visit two important cultural institutions of the city; at the same time contributing to attracting and turning Da Nang people into tourism ambassadors, ready to introduce the city's museums to friends near and far.

The first time he visited Da Nang Museum, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thach (An Khe ward) shared: “I was very surprised because the city has such a large and modern museum. The exhibition spaces and artifacts are all arranged logically and beautifully. The ticket price is also very reasonable, worthy of a rewarding sightseeing experience. Specifically, promoting communication and promotion through many methods and platforms; focusing on digital communication content to target young people and easily reach international audiences.

At the same time, strengthen promotional links with local relic sites and museums; research and develop a project to pilot some night activities and events on the museum grounds. Thereby, creating new products and services for the unit, attracting more tourists to the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture.
