Da Nang opens Food tour festival 2025

On the evening of March 28, the Danang Food Tour Festival 2025 officially opened at the East Sea Park. This is one of many festival events of the city to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the City Liberation Day.

Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025 is a new tourism product held for the first time to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City.

The festival opened with unique performances such as the flashmob performance "Fun with the chef", bartender performance and noodle pulling... The highlight of the program was the impressive and magnificent fire lighting, marking the moment when the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025 officially opened, opening a series of vibrant culinary festivals with many exciting experiences and entertainment activities for locals and tourists.

The Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025 has brought interesting experiences to the people and tourists when coming to the beautiful and hospitable city of Da Nang. This will also be a typical annual event of the city's tourism to promote and develop Da Nang as a unique culinary tourist destination on the world tourism map, contributing to continue affirming "Da Nang - Asia's leading festival and event destination" and contributing to creating new tourism products to attract and serve tourists.

Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025 attracts thousands of domestic and international tourists eager to participate and experience.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, said that, inheriting the results achieved in 2024, the city's tourism activities continued to grow and develop strongly. In the first 2 months of 2025, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated at nearly 1.6 million, an increase of 18.3%; of which, international visitors are estimated at 835,700, an increase of 48.3%, domestic visitors are estimated at 731,800. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel in the first 2 months of 2025 is estimated at more than 5.2 trillion VND, an increase of 21% over the same period in 2024. In particular, revenue from food and beverage reached nearly 3,000 billion VND, an increase of 18.6% over the same period.

Along with the program to stimulate tourism to Da Nang in 2025 and the Da Nang Food Tour campaign, the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025 takes place from March 28 to April 1 with many special activities: Culinary space with the theme "Delicious dishes" introducing and serving more than 200 typical dishes and authentic cuisine of Da Nang, Vietnam and international regions; Danang Food Fun experience space including activities to try making traditional local dishes; Chef competition "Da Nang Food Tour - The Chef Competition"; "Da Nang Food Tour - More than delicious",... This is an opportunity for visitors to participate in expressing their creativity and sharing interesting culinary experiences in Da Nang.
