Da Nang launches the "Propaganda on digital transformation of the city" journalism award in 2024

The Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City has just held a press conference to launch the "Propaganda on digital transformation of Da Nang City" Press Award in 2024.

The 2024 “Propaganda on Digital Transformation in Da Nang City” Press Award is organized to recognize and encourage individuals and organizations participating in propagating the city’s important policies and guidelines on digital transformation; launching a movement to write articles to spread messages, solutions, models, and good initiatives in digital transformation implementation. Thereby, contributing to promoting the communication of the image of Da Nang City - a smart city, a digital transformation city with many domestic and international friends.

Contestants are Vietnamese citizens, journalists, authors, and groups of authors from press agencies whose works are published in the press; content that is appropriate to the theme and scope of the Award is eligible to participate in the Award.

Participating works must be published in local newspapers, central and other local newspapers from January 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024. Each work must be one (or a series of) articles published, broadcast in one or more installments but not more than 5 installments.

The participating works have the following content: Orientations, goals, and tasks of the National Steering Committee on Digital Transformation, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the City People's Council, and the City's Digital Transformation Steering Committee. Recognition and assessment of the value, role, and impact of digital transformation on the overall development of Da Nang.

The content of the article focuses on the topic of digital transformation in 2024, technology solutions, typical digital transformation models, with outstanding highlights on digital economy, digital society, digital government in the fields of public administration, finance, education, healthcare, communications, social security, tourism, transportation, construction, environmental resources, industrial production... in Da Nang city; introducing and encouraging typical digital transformation enterprises, public service units, typical digital transformation state agencies; individuals and collectives with creative and valuable products in the local digital transformation work.

Contest entries can be articles or parts of articles written on Microsoft Word (maximum capacity of 2,000 words/article) or radio or television broadcasts with a minimum duration of 5 minutes and a maximum duration of 45 minutes; effects may be used to ensure sound and image quality.

Entries must include a link to the published work or a photo (for articles not published in electronic newspaper form; for television and radio works, send a text file of the radio content and television script).

For multimedia works, photo groups or photo reports, only select no more than 20 photos/work, published in the same issue of local newspapers, radio stations, central and other local press agencies at the same time of publication (for electronic newspapers)...

The Organizing Committee will receive entries from July 5 to September 30 via email: [email protected] or send by post (and send soft copies via the Organizing Committee's email) to the address: Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City, 24th Floor, Administrative Center Building, No. 24, Tran Phu, Da Nang (works sent by post will be counted according to the postmark).
