Preserving and promoting tradition, cadres and soldiers always complete well and excellently all assigned tasks. Notably, they have performed well in anti-riot and anti-terrorism tasks, protecting important political events of the Party, State and Army, such as the activities: Celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024... With achievements in combat as well as in construction and development, the 1st Special Forces Brigade has been awarded many noble awards by the Party and State: 4 collectives and 4 individuals were honored with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces; were awarded many medals, badges of various types and many other noble awards. On March 13, 2008, the Brigade was honored by the Party and State with the title of Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces in the period of renovation.
