Highlights of cultural and artistic programs celebrating National Day September 2

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a decision to organize a Film Series to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The Department of Cinema is the unit assigned to preside over and coordinate with Feature Film Joint Stock Company I, Giai Phong Film Joint Stock Company, Central Documentary and Scientific Film Studio, Vietnam Animation Film Studio, People's Public Security Cinema, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, film distribution units of provinces and cities nationwide to implement the film series. The event will take place in August and September 2025, nationwide.

From August 12 to 14, in Dak Lak province, the Organizing Committee will open the Film Festival, screen films for the audience and many exchange activities between film artists and the people, armed forces and students. The opening ceremony of the festival will take place at 7:30 p.m. on August 12 at the Dak Lak Provincial Film Distribution and Screening Center. The films to be screened are: 2 documentaries "Flying on the wings of freedom" and "Special companion"; and feature films "Nam Xuan memories", "Old lady going to the bush"... Artists and actors of 3 feature film crews: "Dao, pho and piano", "Old lady going to the bush" and "Nam Xuan memories" will interact with the audience.

Another political art program that has received much attention is the television bridge "Under the Glorious Flag", organized by the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, with the coordination of the Hanoi Party Committee, Hue Party Committee, and Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. The program took place on the evening of August 9 at 3 locations: Ba Dinh Square - Hanoi, Ky Dai Area - Hue, Creative Park - Ho Chi Minh City. The Organizing Committee said: The program will be an emotional political art epic about patriotism, the desire for peace and the Vietnamese spirit throughout the history of building and defending the country. The scale of the program is very impressive: more than 10,000 delegates, 9 famous directors participating in directing the program, with the participation of singers such as People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, Suboi, Thanh Duy, Duy Khanh, Duong Hoang Yen, Vu Thang Loi, singer Kieu Anh, Thu Thuy Sao Mai, Xuan Hao, Oplus Band, Viet Danh, Quang Linh, Khanh Linh, Anh Tu ...

In Hanoi , two other special art programs will also be held to celebrate National Day, September 2. The program "Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945" will take place on the evening of August 15 at the August Revolution Square and "Hanoi - Forever the aspiration of Vietnam" will take place on the evening of August 31 at the National Exhibition Center. In particular, the program "Hanoi - Forever the aspiration of Vietnam" will have 3 chapters: "Hanoi day, month, year", "Hanoi in whose eyes" and "Vietnam of the new day". The program will be broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television with the participation of many famous artists.

A very grand music night organized by VTV that is also being looked forward to by the audience on this occasion is "V Concert - Radiant Vietnam", taking place on the evening of August 9, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Hanoi. The program is invested in a methodical and large scale from ideas, content to staging techniques, promising to bring the audience an attractive experience. Artists such as Ha Anh Tuan, Ho Ngoc Ha, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Hoa Minzy, Quang Hung MasterD, Phuong My Chi... promise to bring V Concert an impressive and meaningful music night.
